About Us
We are at the heart of the innovations that change the way we work and play.
Self-driving cars, Artificial Intelligence, the cloud, 5G, and the Internet of Things are ushering in the Era of Smart Everything. We power it all with the world's most advanced technologies for chip design and software security.
Silicon IP Business
Our business integrates more capabilities into an SoC—faster.
We offer the world's broadest portfolio of silicon IP—predesigned blocks of logic, memory, interfaces, analog, security, and embedded processors.
This helps customers integrate more capabilities, meet unique performance, power, and size requirements of their target applications, and get differentiated products to market quickly with reduced risk.
Job Description
This position requires a highly motivated and experienced circuit designer to collaborate and integrate leading-edge custom-designed IP into our final product for next-generation DDR/LPDDR/HBM IP.
We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven engineer with a take-charge leadership style and attentiveness to design performance, quality, schedule, and current and future customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead mixed-signal analog design team projects.
* Leverage strong understanding of circuit simulation and layout as well as knowledge of bipolar, CMOS, passive structure, and interconnect failure modes.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.
Requirements:
* Engineering degree with demonstrated 2+ years' experience in a product managing role for mixed-signal IP.
* Technical understanding of DDR5/4/3, LPDDR5x/5/4x/4 is a plus.
* In-depth familiarity with transistor-level circuit design - sound CMOS design fundamentals is a must.
* Exceptional communication and public speaking skills is a must.
* Experience with FinFET technologies is a plus.
* Detailed design experience with at least one, and familiarity with several other DDR or SerDes sub-circuits.
* Awareness of ESD issues (i.e., circuit techniques, layout).
* Familiarity with custom high-speed digital design.
* Knowledge of design for reliability (i.e., EM, IR, aging, etc.).
* Knowledge of layout effects (i.e., matching, reliability, proximity effects, etc.).
* Hands-on experience with physical layout of high-speed circuits is a plus.
* Knowledge of SPICE simulators and simulation methods.
* Verilog-A for analog behavioral modeling and simulation-control/data-capture.
* Experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and/or Automotive applications is also helpful.
