About the Role:
* Support the local APQP Champion at plant location with APQP activities for development and industrialization projects;
* Assist specific assessments for EN-9145 - Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) / Key Business deliverables (KBDs);
* Support by the improvement of manufacturing engineering processes and methods;
* Assist in the development and product quality, as well as in the continuous quality improvement in manufacturing engineering areas;
* Carry out and support industrial quality reviews in development projects;
* Ensure uniform application of guidelines (standards, processes and norms) during the development process in all plants;
* Support in the guidance of improvement processes from internal/external and customer complaints;
* Application of quality management methods e.g. PPS, 9S, FMEA, Six-Sigma, Pareto, Five-Why, Ishikawa and Benchmarking etc.;
* Moderate lessons learned workshops;
* Ensure consistent application of guidelines, standards, procedures and norms;
* Ensure the business requirements and the process maturity criteria within the DOA/POA processes and methods;
* Assure that all Business Requirements and the process maturity criteria are fulfilled by the Process in accordance with the Corporate Process Management rules;
* Support proactively the Process Management Team to set up the Process referentials and to improve the Process maturity;
* Ensure process is fully described according to Airbus Aerostructures requirements, allowing its application across Airbus Aerostructures and the Risks & Opportunities associated are managed;
* Ensure process referentials (Competences, Resource Models, Documentation Plan, Process networks, Deployment Areas) are up to date, managed and continuously improved;
* Contribute to Process performance and improvement (e.g. deliver local Best Practices);
* Ensure effective operational feedback loops to PMT (e.g. risks, opportunities, KPIs, corrective / preventive actions, improvement ideas);
* Deploy Process Surveillance Plan, assuring quality of Process deliverables and addressing non-compliance using appropriate methods (e.g. PPS);
* Act as a correspondent on overall Quality with Process Management Team.
Requirements:
* Diploma/master's degree in the field of aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification acquired in another way;
* Several years of professional experience in manufacturing engineering and/or in quality management;
* Application of quality management methods e.g. PPS, 9S, FMEA, Six-Sigma, Pareto, Five-Why, Ishikawa, Lesson Learned and Benchmarking etc;
* Preferred: APQP Champion or Master qualification;
* Analytical and systematic way of working;
* Talent for agile, reliable and fast data management as well as high resilience and assertiveness;
* Team & communication skills;
* Accurate work ethic;
* Business fluent English (German desirable);
* Experience in MS Office and G Suite;
* Willingness to travel.
