As an IT Operations Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing 1st and 2nd level support for Engineering Based Systems used globally within Infineon, specifically in the areas of test and engineering data collection and analysis.
In your new role, you will:
Provide 2nd level support, including participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation, to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and minimize system downtime.
This will involve solution administration, system maintenance, monitoring, and operation to meet customer SLA targets.Implement service requests and changes to fulfill user and customer needs.Drive proactive problem management in scope, evaluate and deploy new measures/solutions for operational stability improvements.Define and set up effective systems for faulty detection and monitoring for early proactive failure detection.Perform user requirement engineering, FIT & UAT (including test cases creation, and test environment setup).Execute software and technology refresh activities.You are a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to distill complex technical information into clear, actionable advice.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field.At least 1 year of experience in systems/IT support and user requirements handling.Good knowledge of data transfer, file processing methodology, and system interfaces/integration.Proven experience with database systems and development (Oracle PL/SQL, SQL scripts, MS SQL).Hands-on experience with application maintenance and/or development in operating systems such as Windows, Unix, Linux, or Perl Scripts.Practical experience with ITIL (incident management, problem management, event management, change and release management).Fluency in English is mandatory.Please send us your CV in English.
