Teacher of English Language and Literature
We are seeking an experienced Teacher of English Language and Literature with expertise in ESL (English as a Second Language) and the Cambridge International Curriculum across Lower Secondary (Grades 6–8) and IGCSE (Grades 9–10) levels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging and interactive lessons aligned with the Cambridge Lower Secondary English and IGCSE Language and Literature frameworks.
2. Inspire students to develop confidence in English language acquisition and a passion for literary exploration.
3. Use effective ESL strategies to differentiate teaching for students of varying English proficiency levels.
4. Foster critical thinking, writing, and communication skills through diverse texts, grammar development, and analytical activities.
5. Monitor student progress using formative and summative assessments, providing actionable feedback to drive academic success.
6. Support students' preparation for Cambridge IGCSE examinations, ensuring achievement of their academic goals.
7. Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for international and ESL learners.
8. Contribute to curriculum planning, enhancing foundational English skills and literary appreciation.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
1. A degree in English, English Literature, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
2. A valid teaching qualification with experience teaching Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE English Language and Literature.
3. Proven experience teaching ESL learners in an international school environment.
