Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to join our team. As the NOC Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and analyze network events in real-time, responding promptly to issues and incidents to minimize downtime.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide root cause analysis.
* Ensure timely resolution of customer requests and concerns, providing exceptional support and communication.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of our network infrastructure, including subsea cable operation and maintenance.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* At least 3 years of hands-on experience with traditional networking technologies.
* Experience working in a NOC or IT Service Desk environment is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of monitoring infrastructure and subsea cable operation.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Fluency in English and Spanish (or Portuguese), both written and spoken.
