We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our operational excellence and change management activities in Energy Systems Southern Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America. This is a newly established role in the region. You will report to both the Finance and Performance Manager and the Global Operational Excellence Lead, while working closely with the Regional Leadership Team and the global network of Operational Excellence Managers.
As part of the global operational excellence team, the Operational Excellence Manager will drive step-change improvements in operational performance, delivering greater value to customers, employees, DNV Energy Systems, and society. This will be done by developing and leveraging our Lean Operational Excellence methodology, empowering teams, and leading key improvement initiatives to achieve measurable benefits.
Key responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Global Operational Excellence Lead to identify, prioritize, and launch improvement pilots across the Southern Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America region,
2. Provide proactive coaching on Lean management, process improvement, and problem-solving to manager- and employee-led improvement pilots and initiatives, and support as required,
3. Collaborate closely with a global team of Operational Excellence Managers and share lessons learned,
4. Lead and proactively drive Operational Excellence and Change Management initiatives,
5. Assist in designing, refining and tailoring Lean Operational Excellence, Performance Management, and Change Management concepts,
6. Develop Lean Operational Excellence learning paths and deliver training (both in-person and virtually),
7. Occasional travel may be required.

To be successful in this role you need to posses:
8. Proven experience in operational improvements and change management,
9. Proven experience in delivering coaching (or a strong interest), being change advocate,
10. Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar methodologies (or a strong interest),
11. Experience working in an international, complex environment,
12. Self-motivated, proactive, resilient, and able to cope with high pressure situations,
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
14. Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills,
15. Ability to work independently and as part of both physical and virtual teams,
16. Excellent English skills.
