We are looking for an experienced .NET developer to join our Market Risk team. As a key expert, you will be responsible for the development, testing, and deployment of new business functionalities in Currency Risk Management for the global Siemens Group.
Your mission will be:
1. Integrate into the development lifecycle, from analysing requirements to implementing functional and non-functional changes, defining, and executing tests.
2. Involved in discussions and decisions about future developments, incident handling, problem analysis, and bug fixing.
3. Monitor the health of the application with the Siemens Datacenter, including jobs and servers.
4. Maintain a passion for technology and keep your knowledge up to date.
We require someone with:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a comparable technical field of study.
* 5+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably with a financial services provider.
* Professional experiences in Angular, .NET Core, C#, REST, Entity Framework, IIS, Container Technologies like Docker, and MS SQL Server.
* Working experience with build and deployment tools like GitLab and Microsoft Azure DevOps.
* Practical knowledge about agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban as well as Microsoft Office 365 Services.
* Strong analytical skills with a self-driven, problem solver attitude.
* DISTINCT service mentality as well as strong intercultural awareness and teamworking skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Fluent business English language skills.
