Job Title: DevOps Engineer Salary: Competitive + Benefits! Location: Hybrid working, home & our Constellation Tech Hub in Coimbra (monthly visits) Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours Job Status: Permanent Who we are! The role: Maintenance of an existing cloud-based infrastructure.Develop pipelines & custom tooling within our technical estate.Actively implement and uphold security standards within an AWS/LAMP/Kubernetes environment, ensuring compliance with our five key pillars: Security, Cost Optimization, Operational Excellence, Reliability, and Performance.Analyse, understand, and address error logs within cloud environments.Investigate and respond to security vulnerabilities and breaches.Update policies and procedures to align with established frameworks.Manage the maintenance, review, and issuance of access controls.Support the annual technical risk assessment.Develop and create internal documentation and wiki guides.Serve on a 24-hour high-priority incident response team.Provide emergency support on weekends and bank holidays as part of the on-call rotation.You will have: Experience of any of the following languages: Bash, Python, or Typescript.Experience working within a LAMP environment.Experience of creating pipelines within AWS, Terraform & Git/Bitbucket pipeline tooling.2 years of experience administrating Linux (CentOS/Redhat/AWS Linux).2 years AWS cloud experience.Experience of containerization technology.Demonstrable experience networking within a cloud environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrable with internal and external stakeholders.Desirable / Advantageous Skills: AWS system administrator certification.Linux, Redhat certification.OSCP certification.Experience with centralized log systems (e.g., Splunk, Cloud Watch, Elastic Search).Experience or administration of SQL Server.Experience of working within PHP Laravel framework environments.Experience with GitHub / CodePipeline / Terraform.Experience with Atlassian products.Additional Notes: This role includes a hybrid working arrangement from our Coimbra office.
