Your Role in Our Team:
* Be part of a distributed team creating Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for our flagship products, running in AWS and other cloud providers using Infrastructure as Code with a high degree of automation.
* Participate in an agile software development process based on Scrum.
* Be actively involved in all stages of development: requirements, system design, implementation, code review, and formal testing.
* Follow principles of Security by Design in the integration of networking, access control, data management, host administration, and applications.
* Identify and solve problems in our delivery process and tools.
* Demonstrate commitment to security, data integrity, quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
* Take part in third-level support of our customer-facing Cloud Support team.
Your Profile:
* BS or MS in Computer Science or Information Management, or comparable work experience.
* 2+ years of experience working in a software development context creating or adapting applications for use in a cloud-based environment preferred.
* Oral and written communication skills in the English language.
* Experience with Git, code review, and continuous integration.
* An AWS certification in cloud computing at the associate level or higher.
* Good experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon Elastic Container Service for EC2, or Kubernetes.
* Good experience in networking fundamentals, in particular TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS.
* A demonstrated ability to complete technical tasks on time.
* Experience with Azure and AWS technologies including S3, EBS, EC2, EFS, RDS, Amazon Elastic Container Service for EC2, Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes, AKS, IAM, Elastic Load Balancer/ALB, VPC, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Key Management Service, System Manager, Route 53, Secrets Manager, and auto-scaling and Observability.
* Experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.
* Experience in the automation of infrastructure deployment and testing with Pulumi and Gherkin.
* Experience in operating on-premises or cloud infrastructure and applications, including monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
