Job Description
The SAM (Software Asset Management) activity aims to ensure compliance, optimization, and governance of software within the Group. Key objectives include:
* Enforcing software compliance by monitoring usage against licensed quantities.
* Optimizing unused licenses through close monitoring.
* Understanding Group governance rules for SAM and ensuring their deployment.
* Collecting evidence of software usage and purchase.
* Maintaining a point of contact for WM GAIM purchases with Group Procurement or resellers.
* Following up on action plans to ensure software compliance or optimization.
Key Responsibilities
* Update documentation on usage versus purchases, action plans, and software metrics.
* Provide relevant reporting and summaries to Contract Management & SAM Team Leader.
* Prepare SAM reporting for WM GAIM management, including synthetic views, attention points, and statistics.
* Supply information about software usage, purchases, or rules upon request.
Requirements
* At least 12 years of experience in IT.
* 3+ years of experience in Software Asset Management.
* ITIL certification.
