.One of our key clients in the banking sector is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager for their Lisbon headquarters.
In this role, you'll oversee and coordinate projects to align with the ICT department's strategic goals, ensuring compliance with security and operational requirements while keeping stakeholders aligned with business priorities.
Over a short time, you'll step into a major leadership role within the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning and Coordination
- Create detailed project plans, ensuring collaboration across teams (systems, networks, databases, security, etc.).
- Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Identify and mitigate risks while advising management on project-related matters.Resource and Capacity Management
- Monitor and optimise infrastructure resources (systems, networks, databases) to maximise performance and efficiency.
- Plan hardware/software upgrades and migrations with minimal disruption.
- Align infrastructure and security solutions with long-term organisational goals.Operational Continuity and Incident Response
- Coordinate disaster recovery and continuity strategies, ensuring regular updates and testing.
- Supervise quick responses to critical infrastructure or security incidents.Security and Compliance
- Ensure projects follow security best practices and comply with regulations.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement controls, monitor logs, and detect vulnerabilities.Documentation and Improvement
- Maintain clear documentation of processes and configurations.
- Promote workflow optimisation and continuous improvement.User Support and Service Levels
- Oversee the user support team to ensure effective solutions and proactive service.
- Define and monitor SLAs to enhance user satisfaction.Risk and Compliance Management
- Address risks such as unauthorised access, vulnerabilities, and system failures.
- Work with the ICT Risk and Security Department to plan audits and allocate resources effectively.What You Bring
- Education & Experience: Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field, with at least 8 years of project management experience.
PMP certification is preferred.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of project management in ICT infrastructure.
- Language Skills: Native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English (spoken and written), and knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
- Leadership & Approach: Strong leadership, team management, and organisational skills.
