Would you like a central role in which you work with product lifecycle management on a global scale?
Stepping into this global position, you get to put your mark on how we ensure further success with our PLM solution across various business areas. So, grab this career-building opportunity to help realise ECCO’s PLM ambitions – all while you strengthen your own skills.
“Essentially, you will help ECCO prepare for a more digital future with data-driven decisions based on business processes within PLM,” explains Thomas Andersen, Head of Product Tech, Manufacturing & Product Tech, Global IT.
You enhance and support our PLM solution and processes
Joining us in Portugal, you will become part of our multicultural PLM team working from Denmark, Indonesia, and Portugal. We have a well-functioning online setup which enables us to collaborate and share knowledge across borders. This position can also be located in Denmark.
You will interact with relevant stakeholders, including the R&D, Design and Production teams, to understand and translate business requirements into IT solutions. Together with other PLM consultants, you will support the ECCO business as we develop and market our products as efficiently and effectively as possible.
This means that you will have a key role in optimising and continually developing ECCO’s PLM platform supporting the product development process, as you:
* Build and maintain business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Provide ongoing IT support to the user community with a service-oriented attitude as you continually raise the user competence level through dialogue and training
* Review requests from the business and evaluate potential solutions with the business stakeholders
* Configure and develop the Centric PLM system in dialogue with internal and external colleagues.
* Travel 10-20 days a year to visit colleagues and stakeholders
We use Centric PLM as our PLM system and are in the process of phasing out Aras Innovator.
An expert in PLM with a knack for stakeholder management and collaboration
On a personal level, you are known as a strong facilitator and communicator with a holistic view on the tasks at hand – someone who can safely analyse and implement complex changes. Also, you know how to work with others at all levels of an organisation, as you are quick to understand requirements and translate these into IT solutions.
We are open to hearing from you no matter your educational background, but you do need to:
* Have experience with product lifecycle management or product data management from a similar position – preferably from a larger, international company
* Hold fundamental knowledge of IT and be ready to further develop your skills
* Speak and write English fluently
Moreover, it is considered a plus, but not a prerequisite, if you:
* Have knowledge of one or more PLM suites and frameworks
* Have a good understanding of SaaS agreements and environments
* Have experience in working agile
Be different and fit in
When you join ECCO, you become part of a global family where we value people who do things differently. The typical ECCO employee is always curious, never quite satisfied with the status quo and strives for excellence and superior quality in every single product.
You will also be stepping into a global role, interacting with colleagues across both the organisation and borders while impacting the way we take our PLM solution to the next level.
