Job Summary:
Sqills, part of Siemens Mobility Business Unit Software, is a leading technology company focused on providing innovative solutions for the public transport industry.
We are building S3 Passenger, a cutting-edge platform for the public transport industry, offering a wide range of features and capabilities to improve the passenger experience and increase operational efficiency for our customers.
As a Backend Developer, you will be part of one of our Agile DevOps teams, responsible for the complete development and management cycle of microservices in the AWS Cloud.
You will work closely with our dynamic and agile IMS teams from HaCon and eos.uptrade, occasionally traveling to the Netherlands and/or other locations may be required.
Your Role
* Design and implement microservices for S3 Passenger and translate functionalities into software solutions.
* Bridge the gap between desired functionality and technical solution.
Your Profile
* University degree in informatics, computer science, or a similar degree.
* Experience in web or backend development.
* Knowledge of Java, Go, Kotlin or Rust, JavaScript.
* Experience with SaaS applications and microservice architecture.
* AWS knowledge.
* Experience with build/deployment pipeline.
* Possession of passionate concepts such as serverless, monitoring, secure development, high performance, and high availability.
