The Role:
The Digital Trader plays a key role in promoting the use of our digital tools within the broker and business partner community, actively contributing to increased sales for small brokers. The role includes establishing remote commercial contacts and managing relationships with brokers. The Digital Trader also interacts with the Change team to suggest improvements to digital platforms and provide user feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promote the use of digital tools within the broker and business partner community.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and partners, fostering new business opportunities.
* Provide and promote MyHiscox online training to brokers for both existing and new business leads.
* Contribute to increasing income through cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
* Manage sales-related onsite visits and new lead engagements.
* Strategically contribute to the sales performance plan to meet targets.
* Foster the conversion of traditional business processes to end-to-end digital business models.
* Underwrite non-clean projects within the authority level.
* Handle a high volume of requests from brokers efficiently.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Change, Marketing, Sales, and Underwriting Technical) to ensure constant digital channel improvements.
* Provide administrative support for users of digital platforms.
* Report technical incidents related to digital platforms to the Change/IT team.
* Proactively propose and implement workflow improvements.
* Deliver superb customer service via inbound and outbound calls.
Person Specification:
What we expect from you:
* Native Portuguese speaker with good level of Spanish.
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a multinational company, with a focus on sales.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients remotely.
* Customer-focused mindset with a drive to deliver exceptional service standards.
* Ability to organize, prioritize, and plan workload to meet deadlines.
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
* Courage to address challenges and share ideas confidently.
* Team player with a results-driven and detail-oriented attitude.
