We are looking for a Senior General Ledger Accountant & Tax Officer to join the Finance Team.
This is a fixed-term position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission.
The role will be responsible for day-to-day general ledger accounting activities, as well as monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial processes.
Your Responsibilities
General Ledger & Financial Reporting
* Performing intercompany accounting and acting as the Key personnel for the Intercompany process.
* Ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of entries.
* Recording and reviewing General Accounting transactions.
* Analysing and reconciling accounts.
* Reporting in accordance with IFRS.
* Driving continuous improvement, standardization, and process reengineering.
Audit & Compliance
* Providing information to auditors and tax authorities.
* Completing internal controls and ensuring compliance with group policies.
* Liaising with legal, corporate secretary, tax, and treasury for accuracy and completeness.
Tax & Regulatory Reporting
* Preparation of monthly corporate tax provisions and tax proofs.
* Supporting preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns.
* Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
Your Profile
Technical Skills:
* Strong accounting background with analytical skills.
* Experience producing financial statements and financial reporting.
* Familiarity with ERP systems (MS Dynamics is a plus).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Experience in Intercompany processes.
* Knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications:
* Higher accounting degree or finance & accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification is an advantage).
* Post-qualified accounting experience (5+ years)
* Fluent in English
