Lead Regional Finance Role in Portugal
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the implementation of our Regional Finance strategy in Portugal.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement finance-focused initiatives in Portugal, aligning with regional and global objectives.
* Collaborate closely with the Managing Director and other local departments as a strategic partner.
* Oversee annual business planning and forecasting processes for Portugal.
* Guarantee the accuracy of local financial records, adhering to relevant regulations.
* Manage the monthly accounting close process and provide regular financial reports to headquarters.
* Contribute to ad hoc analyses for business expansions, acquisitions, and entity integrations.
* Evaluate investment proposals and oversee investment approval request preparation.
Requirements:
* Degree in Finance, Management, Accounting or related field.
* At least 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller.
* Certified Accountant.
* Background in industrial or logistics operations is highly valued.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Team player with a hands-on approach.
* Fluent English language skills.
* Strong knowledge of ERPs.
