Job Title: Vulnerability Management Specialist
Location: Lisbon (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain an up-to-date strategy for the vulnerability management process to ensure a clear view of risks and effectiveness of mitigations.
* Perform vulnerability assessments on systems, networks, and applications to identify possible security weaknesses.
* Analyze and interpret the results of vulnerability scans or pentest reports to determine the severity and potential impact of identified vulnerabilities.
* Validate whether vulnerabilities are actually exploitable, proving this whenever necessary by exploiting them, even if this requires the creation of code or mechanisms to do so.
* Clarify the teams involved in the process to guarantee the timely and effective resolution of vulnerabilities.
* Document vulnerabilities and remediation activities to maintain an accurate, central, and comprehensive record of the organization's security posture.
* Track and report global vulnerability indicators for the organization.
Required Profile:
* Higher education in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* Professional experience of at least 5 years in equivalent positions.
* Ability to exploit vulnerabilities and identify and manage risks.
* Ability to implement new processes and align various teams.
* Experience in vulnerability management platforms.
* Knowledge of scripting and programming (Python or equivalent) and operating systems (Windows and UNIX) is valued.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* High degree of autonomy, responsibility, proactivity, and dynamism.
* Critical thinking and results-oriented.
* Leadership and teamwork skills.
