Job Overview
* Define and Execute Supplier Integration Program at selected suppliers.
* Perform Potential Analysis at new suppliers (VDA6.3 Potential Analysis).
* Perform Supplier Integration Assessments to selected suppliers.
* Perform regular visits to Suppliers under the Integration Program till QCDTS Target completion.
* Verify CQI certifications – Perform CQI audits when applicable.
* S Support suppliers for System Development according to IATF when applicable (i.e., ISO 9000 to IATF).
* Monitor Supplier's performance during the Supplier Development (Integration) Program and escalate to Procurement if required.
* Train Experts within SQ Function for IATF / Core Tools / 5S / Poka-Yoke / Problem-Solving & PDCA / QRM / Lean Tools.
* Own the Supplier Academy and Onboarding Process for Quality.
* Ensure Tooling / Technical Skill Capability according to the required commodity / manufacturing process.
* Expert on Lean Manufacturing, leading Value Stream Mapping (Flow Analysis) workshops at Suppliers identifying potential cost improvements.
* Lead Supplier Improvement Workshops (i.e., reduction of CoPQ / Scrap Reduction / Lean Manufacturing) in collaboration with Procurement SDE / CoE.
Requirements:
* At least 5 years of experience within Automotive Quality Management (Procurement is a plus).
* Fluent English is a must, German is an advantage.
* Minimum 5 years of Lean Manufacturing Working Experience.
* Expert Knowledge on VDA 6.3., IATF16949, ISO 14000, ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing Tools, Automotive Core Tools, Poka-Yoke, and other Automotive Standards.
* Certified VDA 6.3 (version 2023) / IATF 16949 2nd party auditor.
* Problem Solving Tools (8D / PDCA / A3 / DMAIC / SPS, etc).
* Tooling / Technical Skill Capability according to the required commodity / manufacturing process.
* 6 Sigma Green Belt experience at minimum.
* Technical knowledge on specific product and process as required (e.g. Molding, Stamping, Plating, Die casting, Mechanical Assembly, PAB/PCBA…).
* Expert level with the tools related to supplier APQP process, include but not limited to PPAP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, R@R, Poka-Yoke, 5S and 8D methodology.
* Able to work across cultures and geographies effectively.
* Thorough knowledge of Problem-Solving tools (5-Why, Ishikawa/Fishbone diagrams, Fault Tree Analysis, A3, SPS, etc).
* Auditor Skills (ISO 19011 / Automotive Process Approach / Risk Thinking).
* SAP basic knowledge (Minimum Quality Module).
* Basic knowledge of GD&T.
* Strong presentation and communication and negotiation skills.
* Strong Coaching & Training skills.
* Business acumen regarding part cost structure / breakdown.
* Job requires regular travels (including abroad).
