You will develop innovative methods and tools for automated defect detection, autonomous operation, and visual asset monitoring. These solutions enable quantitative component health assessments, facilitate systematic evaluations and design feedback, and ultimately enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability for our customers. 15. Designing and developing state-of-the-art computer vision solutions for integration into service and design applications
16. Collaborating within cross-functional teams to coordinate and integrate computer vision methods and technologies across different fields of application
17. Driving further adoption of computer vision applications across the company through knowledge sharing, demonstration of state-of-the-art concepts, and supporting technical trainings
18. Staying informed about the latest developments in computer vision, machine learning, and data science, and proactively identify opportunities to apply these technologies to solve real-world problems in the energy industry
19. Collaborating in a partner ecosystem across industry and academia to drive research and leverage know-how in this field
20. Documenting the developed methods and processes and present results to stakeholders across the organization on a regular basis
What You Bring
21. University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related field with focus on computer vision or image processing
22. Excellent analytical skills and profound expertise in modern computer vision techniques, including object detection, semantic and instance segmentation, feature extraction, and 3D reconstruction
23. Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, or other relevant languages, experience with computer vision libraries and machine learning frameworks, familiarity with GPU programming
24. Good mathematical and 3D geometry background, featuring a robust foundation in linear algebra, optimization, and an understanding of 3D geometry and computer graphics, and knowledge of sensor technologies
25. Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills, open-minded and willing to learn
26. Ability to effectively collaborate in multidisciplinary, multinational, global teams
27. Fluent in written and spoken English, excellent communication and presentation skills
28. Enthusiastic about data and analytics and driving the use of data across all parts of a business and ecosystem
