Overview of the Role
The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee quality systems management, compliance, and product release processes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This position demands strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and an ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities
·Ensure compliance with quality standards and applicable regulations.
·Develop, revise, and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and related documents.
·Serve as QMS controller, ensuring document storage, traceability, and retrieval meet the approved retention policy.
·Conduct batch documentation reviews in line with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), internal SOPs, and company policies.
·Oversee GACP batch release processes.
·Provide training and quality support to team members.
·Manage Deviations, Risk Management Reports, Change Controls, CAPAs, and Investigations.
·Handle complaints and act as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters with clients and suppliers.
·Oversee Client and Supplier Qualifications.
·Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
·Contribute to quality-related projects as needed.
·A degree in Quality, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
·Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry; GACP knowledge is a plus.
·Fluent in English and Portuguese, both written and verbal.
·Proven experience in team management.
·Exceptional communication skills across diverse cultural and functional backgrounds.
·Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
·Proactive, empathetic, and motivated to inspire teamwork.
·Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
