Job Summary:
We seek an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) in Lisbon, Portugal, who will work with direct corporate clients, develop new project opportunities, bring back leads for our sales teams and direct channel customers. The successful candidate will amaze us with their business development strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following are the key responsibilities of this role:
1. Tertiary Training and Support for New Products
2. Engaging Customers in Supercomputing Field and Cold Calling
3. Scheduled General Sales Training or On-Demand Channel Sales Training Kits Creation
4. Expanding Existing Client Accounts for Retention and Growth
5. Qualifying Opportunities and Creating Target Lists for Vertical Markets
6. Positioning Super Micro's Products and Services Strategically
7. Promoting the Right Product to the Right Customer
8. Developing Relationships, Communicating Product and Market Information
9. Establishing Superior Customer Service Relationships with Prospects and Collaborating with Sales Teams to Close Deals
10. Identifying Chassis OEM Business Opportunities
11. This Role Typically Involves Working as Part of a Team and Closely with Other Departments within the Organization
12. Preparing Reports as Necessary
Requirements:
To succeed in this position, you will need:
* A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering Discipline
* At Least 5 Years of Experience in Chassis Products or Sales/Marketing Environment
* The Ability to Work Positively Under Deadlines and Constraints, Result-Oriented, and Attentive to Detail
* A Consistent Track Record of Meeting/Exceeding Assigned Jobs/Goals in a Timely Manner
* Strong Communication Skills Across Multiple Disciplines and Cultures
* An Excellent Command of the English Language; A Second Language is a Plus
* Experience Tracking and Reporting Data on Lead Activity
* The Ability to Travel Up to 15% of the Time
