As Materials Planner, you are responsible for the planning, scheduling and monitorization of inventory levels, ensuring materials are available to execute the production plan, optimizing inventory levels and transport costs.
This role is based in Vila Nova de Cerveira, Portugal.
Accountabilities
1. Manage flow of materials and stock levels:
2. Analyze demand for all locations
3. Create receipts in AS 400 for incoming
4. Working together with Logistics to organize inbound freights
5. Manage stock levels in accordance with company strategy, ensuring an optimal inventory
6. Follow up orders released, ensuring the delivery times meet the production needs
7. Manage all “non-stock” purchase orders, as investments, maintenance parts and other services
8. Manage inventory and orders of office supplies
9. Manage the relationship with suppliers and other external entities:
10. Work along with Sourcing evaluating supplier’s performance
11. Facilitate relations between suppliers and Brunswick
12. Act as the owner of the process of proof of delivery for EU suppliers, which means gathering documentation from each delivery and send it back to each supplier respecting all legal deadlines
13. Participate in the development of new products:
14. Participate actively in the process of implementing engineering changes, new model year changes and implementation of new products
15. Manage non-conformities:
16. Inform and coordinate with Quality department non-compliances of suppliers
17. Support Quality with claims to suppliers, to ensure that company procedures and policies are being followed

Skills & Knowledge
1. Degree in Logistics or Industrial Engineering will be an asset
2. Up to 3 years of experience in similar positions or in industrial environment will be an asset
3. Proficiency in all MS Office tools, with demonstrated good Excel skills
4. AS400/MRP proficiency will be highly valuable
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in both Portuguese and English
6. Highly organized, adaptative and flexible profile
7. Good time management skills
8. Strong analytical problem solving focus
