As part of the Project Management team, the BIM Manager is responsible for the correct and efficient management of the information related to building construction projects.
This role is site-based in Sines.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Overseeing the management and coordination of BIM data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
* Maintaining comprehensive documentation of BIM processes, decisions, and changes, ensuring transparency and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
* Advising and assisting Project Management and/or Cost Management teams with BIM model content.
* Analyzing the main contents of the informative documentation and carrying out preliminary verification.
* Analyzing and ensuring the accuracy of budget information.
* Checking preliminary models.
* Monitoring information flows and verifying the consistency of the model.
* Assuring the quality of the BIM model.
* Ensuring that all construction-related data is accurately captured and integrated into the BIM model.
* Verifying that the BIM model is prepared for handover, including all relevant data for operation and maintenance.
* Compiling and delivering comprehensive handover documentation, including as-built drawings, equipment specifications, and maintenance schedules, derived from the BIM model.
* Delivering a high-quality service which ensures that services meet our client’s requirements.
* Participating in the preparation of bids for services.
* Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or will arise, on projects; in particular, those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance.

About You
Who we’re looking for:
Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
* Proven experience in BIM management function in large construction projects - industrial buildings or real estate sector.
* Experience working on data centre projects is desirable.
* Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
* Cohesive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legislation impacting on building contracts.
* Excellent communication skills – both oral and written – and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Detail-oriented.
* Competent ICT skills, with a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in BIM software.
* Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
* Availability to work in Sines 5 days per week.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
