Production Assistant Operator

RENOLIT Ibérica specializes in the manufacturing of flexible thermoplastic PVC films, unicoloured or printed, by means of the calendaring and extrusion process. Specifically for the roofing, civil engineering, and swimming pool sectors. In the swimming pool sector, printed films with decorative designs. In the civil works sector, with the aim of storing liquids, on the one hand, films for drinking water tanks and reservoirs; and on the other hand, to prevent leaks or water ingress, films for tunnels and foundations. Finally, in the roofing sector, there are different product ranges depending on their application.
Your tasks at RENOLIT
The main porpoise of the Production Assistant Operator is to participate in the supervision and start-up of the machine, managing the necessary regulations and preparations to guarantee the quality of the product.
What we expect
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1. They are responsible for the proper functioning of the various parts of the machine in their charge (rolling mills, Entex, Eickoff, Strainer...).
2. They are responsible for recovering rejected materials (strips and coils in the laminator).
3. They change and clean the transport filters.
4. They adjust the conditions according to the material.
5. They ensure that at no time is there a lack of material in the machine, monitoring the good administration of the machine within the process.
6. Notifies the machine operator or second of any anomaly, be it mechanical, electrical or contaminated material.
7. Cleaning the area for a colour change.
8. Help to dress the machine during start-ups.
9. He/she must inform his/her superiors of any critical points detected in the installation.
10. Responsible for the order and cleanliness of the entire section.
11. Knows how to classify the waste generated.
12. Collaborates in achieving the objectives set by the management in terms of safety, quality, environment, sustainability and productivity.
13. At the request of the person in charge, he/she will be able to carry out tasks outside his/her production line.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
14. Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO)
15. Fork-lift truck driver's license
16. Familiar with industrial environment
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
17. Minimum of 3 months experience in a similar position.

20. Availability to work shifts.
