You as Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the management and execution of projects in the energy sector of Siemens Energy providing to our customer the most advanced and efficient technological solutions and services.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Project Managers to join our team. We look for candidates with approximately 5 years of experience in managing projects of the energy sector. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Your technical expertise and innovative attitude will be essential in driving the continuous improvement of our solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
7. Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from initial feasibility through to completion.
8. Lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication. Assign tasks, supervise progress, and provide technical guidance.
9. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
10. Identify risks and opportunities, define strategies and management thereof.
11. Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, bid, construction, commissioning and quality health and safety to ensure seamless project execution.
12. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and Siemens Energy guidelines.
13. Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and follow industry regulations.
14. Monitor project progress and make vital adjustments to meet project deadlines.
15. Prepare and present comprehensive project status reports to stakeholders.
16. Have a deep technical understanding of the project scope and follow-up with the engineering team and partners.
17. Provide technical expertise and oversight in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and solutions.
18. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence.
What You Bring
19. Degree or integrated masters in Electrical Engineering or similar.
20. At least 5 years of proven experience in similar position.
21. Passionate about the energy development.
22. Willingness to travel in and out of the country.
23. Availability for short term site activities.
24. Fluent in English (required).
25. Experience on successfully managing and delivering electrical engineering projects for the energy sector.
26. Previous experience in managing Onshore and/or Offshore wind projects is preferable.
27. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
28. Ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers and technicians.
29. Organized, teammate and good collaborating skills to reach a global optimum.
30. Capacity to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, resources allocation and manage budget.
31. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery and alignment to budgets.
32. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and project issues.
33. Competence in Electrical Engineering Principles: Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuit design, power distribution, and control systems.
34. Proficient in project management tools like MS Project.
35. Preference for knowledge and experience in CAD.
36. Strong commitment to safety protocols and practices in all project activities.
