The Role: Business Controller
Indie Campers is expanding its financial capabilities by joining a dedicated team to bridge accounting and business information through accurate financial planning, analysis, reporting, and process controlling to accelerate management decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Create annual budgets and establish processes for optimal expenditure levels on business operations to achieve targets, focusing on fleet services and operational costs.
* Verify accounting entries periodically to ensure financial statements accurately reflect business activity, acting as a bridge between business teams and accounting.
* Provide management with accurate financial information and recommendations for initiatives to improve processes and reduce costs.
* Monitor business activity and project execution using KPIs.
* Analyze costs and business performance against budget and projections.
* Control budget execution through approval of POs and invoices.
Requirements
* You must be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
* You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
* You have a minimum of three years of working experience, preferably in a company with physical operations.
* You have experience in consultancy, preferably auditing at an accounting firm, and are currently responsible for business controlling or FP&A in your current company.
