Agile Delivery Manager
Location: Lisbon, London, Madrid
Team: Engineering & IT
We’re right at the tipping point of a fintech revolution - and we need your help to get there!
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Delivery Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional projects across various domains, embedded within a few teams. You have exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills to work with teams distributed globally, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and deliverables. This role is crucial to driving complex initiatives that involve multiple departments and locations, optimizing collaboration, and ensuring project success.
Who We Are
We’re saying goodbye to an outdated business process – the dreaded spend management. We help our customers delegate employee spending through a business spending platform, encouraging autonomy and trust in employees, and taking a huge burden off the finance team. You'll be building a SaaS tool that comes with physical pre-paid cards distributed to all employees of the company.
We place ourselves in the user's position every day and try to minimize the major pains they feel.
Who you are
* 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects, preferably in a global or distributed team environment.
* A solid understanding of Agile and Lean Principles and values as well as knowledge of Scrum & Kanban theory, rules and practices.
* Understand the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.
* Know the value of continuous improvement (kaizen!), visualization, and metrics.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the mindset of a servant leader.
* Enjoy collaborating with diverse personality types.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with teams spread across multiple time zones.
* Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Linear).
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
What you’ll do
* Lead and manage multiple cross-functional projects, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables are met.
* Develop project plans, timelines, and roadmaps; monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines.
* Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
* Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to define project scope and objectives that align with business goals.
* Communicate with stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed about the progress of the delivery.
* Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and implement improvements for future projects.
* Facilitate daily scrum, weekly story refinement sessions, and retrospective meetings.
* Capture metrics and reporting to help guide continuous improvement.
* Help the Product Manager keep the product backlog in good shape and ready for work.
* Assist your teams with improving internal/external communication, collaboration, and radiating information.
* Work to minimize meetings and ceremonies, ensuring that when they are needed, they are well-run and efficient.
