Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior IT Support Specialist (f/m/d) located in Seixal. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with supporting IT infrastructure at Natech offices and the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing production facility to meet the business needs of Natech Lda. We are looking for a highly capable IT support specialist to provide technical assistance to our staff. In this role, your duties will include providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. You will also be required to upgrade, install, maintain, and troubleshoot all computer systems and peripherals. The position holder will report to the Facility Manager.
Main duties of this role
1. First point of contact for IT support requests and call flow.
2. Training end-users on hardware functionality and software programs.
3. Resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
4. Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software.
5. Creating, modifying, or deactivating user accounts in multiple applications.
6. Documenting processes and performing diagnostic tests.
7. Updating computer software as well as upgrading hardware and systems.
8. Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics.
9. Local network administration, 2-3 server infrastructure maintenance.
10. 30 endpoints infrastructure maintenance.
11. Information security best practices implementation.
12. Telecom services management.
13. User support.
14. Installing electrical or computer equipment such as flat-screen televisions, projectors, routers, desktop computers, laptops, and tablets.
Desired profile
1. 2+ years of experience as an IT support specialist.
2. Higher education in Management Informatics.
3. Experience in implementing IT solutions in the areas of distribution and production.
4. Knowledge of SQL database technologies and reporting (Crystal Reports).
5. Microsoft, HPE, and VMware certifications.
6. Minimum experience in Active Directory Administration and administration of supported systems in Windows Server.
7. Solid knowledge in electronic mail technologies, specifically Microsoft solutions: Exchange On-prem, Office 365.
8. Experience in installing and configuring server infrastructure is valued (Storage Fiber Channel and iSCSI; ITIL; TCP/IP Network Protocols and DNS and DHCP Network; Server Virtualization and High Availability Solutions; Monitoring solutions).
9. Certifications in the main perimeter and endpoint security brands is valued (Watchguard, Sophos; Palo Alto; Checkpoint, etc.).
10. Knowledge of Identity Management and system security.

5. Previous experience in the pharma manufacturing and/or medical cannabis industry is a plus.
