We are looking for young, talented & ambitious future Engineers/Technicians who are ready to join Tetra Pak's Services team.
Tetra Pak Iberia has an opening in Portugal (Lisbon) for Future Talent: Service Engineer/Technicians trainees to fill rewarding and challenging roles, that allow freedom with accountability while working directly with our Field Service Operations (FSO) team and customers.
The successful candidates will report to the Service Delivery Manager based in Spain (Seville).
Our Future Talent Programme - Technical Track is an 18 months programme that will develop your engineering/technical skills and bring you leading technical knowledge in an accelerated way.
From day one, you’ll be delivering results as part of the team and hold an actual position. Your manager will plan the content of your programme and support you in your development journey. You will work in various parts of Tetra Pak and gain experience from a network of colleagues all over the world. And that is just the beginning of your Tetra Pak career. After the programme finishes you will have gained valuable experience to help you continue your exciting career within our company.
What you will do
* Develop skills to execute installation tasks, assembling equipment as well as installation of relevant rebuilding/upgrade kits according to procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment according to defined expectations.
* Learn to execute preventive maintenance activities in line with global Tetra Pak standard procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment according to defined expectations.
* Learn trouble shooting skills (Problem Solving Methodology) to restore machines to operational basics.
* Execute timely maintenance and technical issues reporting according to procedures.
* Inform relevant Tetra Pak staff about ongoing service activities as well as of any issues affecting the customer or the quality of Tetra Pak service. Inform about any business opportunity discovered at the customer through the relevant channels.
* Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring and promoting good working relationships with the customer and that Tetra Pak’s reputation is sustained.
* Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and Customer safety regulations and requirements. Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety. Escalate all discovered food safety, quality assurance and regulatory issues.
We believe you have
* Technical Diploma or University degree, preferably in the areas of Electricity, automation, electromechanics, mechatronics and industrial maintenance; mechanical.
* Limited or 1 year experience in hands-on technical work.
* Willingness to develop skills and perform maintenance and/or repair work and installations tasks.
* Availability to travel along Iberia area and sometimes short travels to European countries.
* Attitude and Flexibility is key - must be willing to work long hours, overtime, weekends, public holidays and away from home (ad hoc as per customer requirements).
* Driving license.
* English language: Medium level in both writing and verbally.
