Data Analyst Role
We are seeking a Data Analyst who is eager to continue evolving, thrives on challenges, and is ready to embark on a new opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with end-users to design, build, and optimize data warehouses and data marts using dimensional modeling techniques.
* Work closely with developers to communicate data analysis and ensure accurate and effective implementation of data solutions.
* Develop reports and visualizations using tools such as Power BI and SQL to present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Escalate challenges or roadblocks to the Scrum Master, ensuring timely resolution and smooth project flow.
* Adapt to evolving team priorities, demonstrating flexibility in supporting the team to achieve sprint goals.
* Ensure the quality and integrity of data by conducting thorough testing and validation.
* Actively participate in all phases of Agile development, including sprint retrospectives, to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years of experience in similar roles.
* In-depth knowledge of Ralph Kimball's dimensional modeling techniques with proven experience.
* Strong conceptual data modeling and design skills.
* Familiarity with UML and one of the UML modeling tools (e.g., Sparx Enterprise Architect, Rational Rose).
* Experience with at least one of the following: Azure Analytics Suite (Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Analysis Services, Databricks, Synapse), Microsoft SQL Server data warehouses, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS.
* Good knowledge of SQL.
* Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
* Fluent level of English.
