Responsibilities
At STARK we have embarked on a digital journey and with own established development teams and involving our entire value chain from sourcing to sales and every IT system that helps serve our customers better.
We therefore require Scrum Masters to help our development teams build the applications and platforms upon which we build the rest of our new IT landscape. Our development teams have a big responsibility at STARK IT and are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing original software solutions for our business applications including data produced within their own product domain as well as interfaces towards other applications both up and down stream. Our Scrum Masters play a crucial part in defining the team, hiring the right candidates, and making sure that our new colleagues are onboarded correctly and that the teams are high performing teams.
Our Scrum Masters work very closely with the Product Owner of the team who is also the entry point into the rest of the STARK organisation.
Your main responsibilities will be:
•Lead the team in using Agile methodology and Scrum practices and help the team achieve higher levels of maturity, and take charge of leading and guiding the efforts of Team Members
•Take active responsibility for the development of Team Members, establishing realistic but challenging goals
•Actively manage performance by promoting regular performance reviews for Team Members
•Ensure that all project work is reviewed and meets quality & accuracy requirements
•Contribute to the hiring and onboarding of new development teams
•Facilitate communication and information exchange between teams
•Suggest new ways of working and suggest areas of improvements that can make the team more efficient
•Encourage continuous integration and automation
•Encourage focus on value creation
•Encourage focus on QA and attention to detail
•Ensuring that team members are aligned and in agreement of development practices inside the team and that these are in accordance with overall STARK IT guidelines and culture code
Qualifications
Must-Have Technical Skills:
•3 to 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in software development teams
•Experience with Agile development principles such as Kanban, Scrum and Pair Programming
Good-to-Have Technical Skills:
•Previous experience as a software developer
•Experience with a scaled Agile setup such as SAFe
Soft Skills Requirements:
•Good leadership while being capable of doing him-/her-self–Lead by example mindset
•Actively contributes to the creation and maintenance of a cooperative and constructive work environment that strengthens group spirit
•Ability to work with and lead a team by influencing and using facilitation techniques

Other Requirements:
•Experience working on an international scale with a variety of cultures
•Experience with working in software development departments or companies
•Must be familiar with the Software Development Lifecycle
•Experience with working with DevOps teams
•Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Education
BSc/BA degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline OR relevant years of experience in required skills.
