Opportunity:
Data Protection Counsel We are looking for a Data Protection Counsel to contribute to the implementation of the Sodexo's Global Data Protection Program in the 45 countries where Sodexo operates and, support of the Sodexo's Data Protection Network (around 60 Data Protection points of contact).
Also to provide legal advice and practical solutions on privacy and data protection-related matters.
What will you do? To provide legal and practical advice on privacy and data protection-related matters from the privacy by design process.
To determine the privacy compliance actions to be taken as part of the new projects.
To ensure the maintenance of the Global Data Processing Activities Register.
To support and animate the Global Data Protection Community.
To support internal controls and internal audits.
To provide training, raise awareness (plan, facilitate and support trainings on data protection; design, drive and monitor awareness campaign).
To provide daily practical legal advice to internal clients on privacy and data protection-related matters.
To draft and/or review and negotiate appropriate data protection provisions in clients/suppliers contracts To support innovative and digital initiatives in helping to ensure that privacy and data protection issues are appropriately identified and addressed To perform the relevant due diligence in the privacy risk/data protection impact assessments To work collaboratively with all members of the Group Legal team What you'll need to succeed?: Master degree on Personal data protection, digital law or equivalent At least - 3 years of previous solid professional experience practice in privacy/data protection with a law firm or an international company Fluent English speaking and writing skills Ability to work in an international and culturally diverse environment Ability to understand business-driven needs, to work with a spirit of service and perform risk-assessment Ability to task prioritization with clear action plan defined Ability to network and animate project members leading trough influence Ability to work as part of a team and with a team spirit and a spirit of progress Good technical contract drafting and negotiation skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to travel as needed Knowledge and experience on information security matters (desirable)
