This role requires a strategic and innovative individual with a strong background in merchandising, particularly in workwear and Men's apparel, and a keen understanding of market trends and consumer needs.
They will collaborate closely with design, product development, marketing, sales and regional merchandising teams.
The primary responsibility is to lead the seasonal merchandising execution, ensuring product assortments meet market demands and align with the brand's vision and business objectives.
This role reports to the Sr. Director of Workwear Merchandising.Let's break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.Deliver the seasonal product line for Men's Workwear woven tops and outerwear in alignment with the brand and financial objectives against growth areas and key concepts.Analyze sales data, consumer research, trend data, to optimize assortments and pricing strategies.Develop a strong understanding of the consumer and channels to identify opportunities, utilizing insights to drive informed decision making.Manage the day-to-day activities of your category.Responsible for initiating new concepts that build on Dickies heritage franchises through the spectrum from functional performance innovation for workwear needs, to elevated lifestyle interpretations.Lead cross functional collaboration with design, marketing, and regional merchandising and sales teams to ensure a strong product offering that meets their needs and drives growth in all regions.Build and implement pro-active and directive merchandising strategies including end to end plans for key launches, with pro-active direction to stakeholders on who is the target, what is the concept, and where it should be placed
