Novel is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager (full-remote) to drive growth across Portugal and Spain. The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-motivated professional with a deep understanding of B2B sales dynamics in these markets. This role involves building lasting client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and contributing to the company's growth in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Responsibilities
* Identify and qualify potential clients across Portugal and Spain through various outreach channels.
* Client Outreach: Initiate meaningful conversations with potential clients to present solutions tailored to their unique needs.
* Market Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our services and articulate their value propositions to potential clients.
* Sales Presentations: Create and deliver impactful presentations that showcase our solutions and their benefits.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, ensuring excellent service throughout the sales process.
* Work with internal teams to close deals, including creating proposals, negotiating terms, and handling client inquiries.
* Sales Reporting: Keep accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using a CRM system.
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments in Portugal/Spain to inform sales strategies.
* Bachelor or equivalent degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in New Client Acquisition, Business Development, or B2B sales, ideally within IT Services or Staffing/Consulting industries in Portugal or Spain.
* Fluency in English.
* Strong verbal and written communication, with proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
* Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales platforms.
* Familiarity with business practices and cultural nuances in either country.
* Self-driven and able to operate autonomously.
* Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
* Must be authorized to work in the EU without sponsorship.
