Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Services Manager to join our operations in the Medical Radiology Diagnostic Segment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing doctors' capacity for case reporting and overseeing the recruitment of radiologists. This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, ensuring efficient medical operations and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Capacity Management: Oversee the allocation and scheduling of radiologists to ensure timely and high-quality case reporting.
2. Team & Client Administration: Manage capacity teams and oversee client administration to ensure smooth service delivery.
3. Recruitment & Retention: Lead efforts in hiring and retaining skilled radiologists to support the organization’s medical services.
4. Operational Efficiency: Implement and optimize processes to improve the efficiency of medical services operations within the radiology sector.
5. IT Systems & Interfaces: Utilize IT systems in medical reporting and manage multiple interfaces with customers, including hospitals and clinics.
6. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to local healthcare regulations and industry’s best practices.
7. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with hospitals, radiology centers, and internal teams to streamline service delivery.
8. Reporting & Analytics: Monitor and report key performance metrics related to medical service operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Educational Background: Degree in Healthcare Management, Radiology, Medicine, or a related field.
2. Industry Experience: Extensive experience in radiology companies and hospitals, specifically in managing radiologists and medical reporting services.
3. Recruitment Expertise: Proven track record in recruiting and managing radiologists.
4. Language Proficiency: Fluency in Portuguese and English (both written and spoken).
5. People Management Skills: Strong ability to manage teams and coordinate cross-functional operations.
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience in medical service optimization and digital reporting platforms.
2. Experience with IT systems in medical reporting and customer interfaces.
3. Knowledge of local and international medical regulations in radiology.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
