You will act as a finance point of contact for various stakeholders - partners and senior partners, finance managers and directors - and collaborate with colleagues from the local Lisbon and other European and non-European offices.
Working in a team supporting different geographies will allow you to learn from colleagues' expertise and understand the financial context of our clients' work across multiple regions.
This collaboration will oftentimes help you identify opportunities for alignment and therefore make you the driver of change on a global scale.
Your impact within our firmYou will have an immediate impact on the firm's engagement economics, finance processes as well as tools we use on a daily basis.
In this role, you will manage clients' budgets and ensure the accurate cost allocations in our financial system.
You will monitor the time spent on the projects as well as other project-related costs (travel, accommodation, etc.).
You will verify whether those expenses stay in line with the clients' agreements and firm guidelines.
If needed, you will address inconsistencies to the partners and senior partners and propose solutions.
You will build long-term relationships with many stakeholders and act as an expert helping consultants think strategically through their budget plans and partner with them on long-term client programs.
Your qualifications and skillsUniversity degree preferably in finance/accounting or business administrationExperience in a similar role and environmentStrong verbal and written command of English (C1) is requiredSpanish proficiency (minimum B2) is requiredSolid working knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel)Affinity for problem-solving; holistic analytical thinkingProcess-oriented mindset and good time management skillsAbility to build strong and trustworthy relationshipsExcellent communications skills
