HI FLY is a leading widebody aircraft wet lease specialist operating worldwide, with an Airbus fleet of A330 and A340.
The wet lease business market is very demanding, and airlines are increasingly opting for wet lease solutions as they are found to be reliable, safe, and efficient. For that reason, Hi Fly fleet is steadily growing with new widebody additions in the coming months.
Considering the forecasted growth, we are currently looking for a highly motivated Purchasing and Logistics Supervisor to join our team in Lisbon-Portugal.
At the core of our organizational efficiency lies the Procurement and Logistics Department, serving as the strategic hub for the seamless flow of goods and materials essential to our operations. The Procurement and Logistics Department is tasked with day-to-day coordination and minute-to-minute oversight. Our team ensures the procurement of goods at competitive prices, proper quantities, and volumes. Priding ourselves on real-time operational control and effective management of the entire supply chain, mirroring the diligence required in aviation. As a critical function within the organization, the team actively engages in proactive measures to improve purchasing processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall profitability. With a reporting line to the Procurement and Logistics Director, the Purchasing and Logistics Supervisor operates in an environment that values innovation, responsiveness, and a commitment to delivering excellence.
What will be your main responsibilities:
* Assist the Procurement and Logistics Director with the purchasing of all direct goods and equipments needed;
* Supervise the purchase of correct goods and materials at a competitive price and proper quantities/volumes;
* Assist the Procurement and Logistics Director with regularly report on goods purchased and inventory levels to allow for more effective future purchasing;
* Report all monthly savings of the Purchasing Team;
* Work with the Procurement and Logistics Director to improve the purchasing process as a way to reduce waste and improve profitability;
* Maintain good communication and working relationships with all the company areas;
* Attend finance, operational and maintenance meetings, as required.

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with very good Microsoft Excel skills;
* Proven leadership and supervisory skills;
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Good time management and organization skills;
* Passion for providing an exceptional customer service experience.
