Job Responsibilities:
1. Be in charge of the authoring of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and the labels for products.
2. Create, update, and maintain SDS.
3. Create and update local SDSs and labels following the guidelines for all requested new versions and updates.
4. Maintain consistency with the SDS of reference based on United Nations recommendations.
5. Conduct hazard (health, physical, and environmental) and regulatory assessments; assess the impact of changes in the SDSs and add information about changes in the document.
6. Check the content of the documents created prior to their release.
7. Build and maintain expertise in Country/Local SDS regulations and in SAP-EHS tool.
8. Contribute to the SDS revision cycle.
9. Manage SDS distribution errors.
10. Communicate with the business and other relevant functions to complete tasks.
11. Create and release tremcards in agreement with the requester when needed.
12. Contribute to improving processes, documents, projects, and business continuity.
13. Work closely with Global Business Units, SDS experts, and local experts to ensure and improve the quality of the Country/local SDSs.
14. Follow guidelines, procedures, and processes for the management of confidential names, local parts, REAL_GROUP, and GBU specificities.
15. Manage requests received within the agreed deadline.
16. Answer questions from the GBU about SDS or labels.
17. Collaborate with the SDS Authoring team, EHS, SM, SDS Expert, and Product Stewards.
18. Manage projects to fulfill project goals on time.
Ideal Profile:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or Environment.
2. Experience in using and analyzing SDS and labels.
3. Experience in authoring SDS is a plus.
4. Experience in regulatory affairs.
5. Customer & Service Orientation: Desire to provide excellent customer service to build long-lasting relationships.
6. Excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Office suite, especially Excel, and SAP.
7. Experience with the EHS module in SAP is a plus.
8. Fluent in English.
