Planning Business Consultant

We are currently seeking for a Planning Business Consultant to join our growing Delivery team in Porto, Portugal.

What you’ll be doing:
* Play the role of lead Business Consultant in the context of projects with the goal to implement Oracle Retail Planning suite of applications, working directly with the client end-users and Retail Consult functional and technical consultants.
* Preparing and conducting business-processes workshops with cross-functional teams to derive solutions that better fit the overall stakeholder requirements, from both a business and functional perspective;
* Analyse and understand as-is business processes and together with client and internal technical teams define the to-be solution from a business and functional point of view;
* Elaborating functional specifications for the components to be developed or configured to fulfill the identified requirements, in alignment with the established solution/architecture;
* Coordinating, from a functional perspective, the development team responsible for building the specified components.
What we are looking for:
* 7+ years of experience in working in Retail or Distribution sectors focused in Financial/Category planning, Sales Forecasting, Assortment or Inventory Management roles;
* Strong understanding of Assortment and Category Planning and/or Inventory Planning and/or Promotional Planning;
* Experience working independently in a team-oriented, collaborative environment;
* Availability to travel;
* Proficiency in English is a must.
What would be a plus:
* Experience with planning tools from vendors such as Oracle Retail, Relex, Centric, Logility, SAP Integrated Business Planning or BlueYonder Luminate Planning;
* Degree in Business, Management, or Engineering-related fields.
