Senior Cybersecurity Consultant
At Nimber, we specialize in providing innovative solutions for businesses across various industries. As a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant, you will play a key role in helping our clients protect their data and systems from potential security risks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough assessments of clients' existing security systems and processes to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
2. Develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures to mitigate identified risks.
3. Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on best practices for maintaining a secure IT environment.
4. Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify and address any weaknesses in clients' systems.
5. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends to ensure that our clients' systems are protected against emerging risks.
6. Collaborate with other team members to design and implement security solutions for new projects and initiatives.
7. Provide training and support to clients' employees on cybersecurity best practices and procedures.
8. Act as a liaison between clients and our technical team to ensure timely and effective resolution of any security-related issues.
9. Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably in a consulting or advisory capacity.
3. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
4. Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools and techniques.
5. In-depth understanding of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and other security technologies.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
8. Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
