Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will oversee the scheduling of staff to ensure alignment with workload and occupancy levels.
They will be responsible for supervising food preparation, portion control, and minimizing waste in both hot and cold kitchens.
In addition, they will monitor staff productivity, proper equipment usage, and efficient workflows.
All dishes must meet quality standards for garnish, timing, and presentation.
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen and storage areas is a top priority.
The chef de cuisine will assist in creating special menus and daily suggestions based on product availability.
Preparing product orders and ensuring proper stock rotation are also essential duties.
The ideal candidate will work closely with superiors and other departments for seamless coordination.
Requirements
* Similar experience in the role within a luxury property setting.
* Experience working in a high-end gastronomic restaurant.
* Detailed knowledge of food handling, hygiene, and food safety protocols.
* Proven leadership skills, as well as previous team management experience.
