With a dual expertise in both business and IT, Quanteam supports its corporate clients (investment banks, asset management companies, private and retail banks, custodians, etc.) across the entire Front-to-Back spectrum in evolving their business activities and transformation projects.
We are looking for a Business Analyst QA Trade Finance.
MAIN TASKS:
1. Requirements Analysis:
Understand and analyze project requirements and specifications to identify testing needs.
Work with stakeholders, including Business Analysts and developers, to clarify any ambiguities in requirements.
Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and data flows.
2. Testing:
Develop, perform regression and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure software meets functional specifications, quality, and performance.
Write test cases based on requirements and use cases to ensure thorough coverage.
Execute test cases, report defects, and verify fixes across various testing environments (e.g., development, staging).
Implement automated tests using tools such as Selenium or Cypress to ensure the quality and reliability of the application.
3. Defect Tracking and Reporting:
Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA with detailed information for developers.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
Engage in Agile practices, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to provide input on quality aspects.
Assess potential risks to project timelines and deliverables and communicate these risks to the project manager promptly.
5. Quality Advocacy:
Advocate for best practices in quality assurance and testing processes within the team.
6. Post-Release Activities:
Assist in validating the production environment post-deployment and monitor for any critical issues.
Participate in project retrospectives to evaluate testing effectiveness and gather insights for future projects.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:
Technical Skills:
* Proficient in test management tools and defect tracking systems.
* Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
* Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress).
* Mastery of Agile/Scrum methodology and project management tools.
* Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or QA Analyst, preferably in the trading or financial services domain.
* Familiarity with Trade finance activities is essential.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
Soft Skills:
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication, both verbal and written, for collaboration and information sharing.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Rigorous, curious, organized, and autonomous.
* Interest in trade finance and implementing new tools.
