We’re looking for people with the skills and vision to build a better tomorrow. You will be ensuring the timely production of engineering deliverables for one or several assigned C&I projects, contributing to the financial success of this organisational unit, as well as optimising technical solutions and improving customer satisfaction. You will be required to carry out system engineering functions, either individually or part of a team of engineers. You will be travelling to United Kingdom and Ireland frequently to work at Customer Sites with your team.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Software basic and detail design for power station automation projects.
2. Performing design reviews (internal/external) and deriving corrective measures if necessary
3. Testing & implementing the approved solutions
4. Commissioning of solutions that have been realised and producing any necessary reports
5. Training of in-house and customer personnel as required
6. Joining technical system implementation / clarification meetings (internal and with customer)
7. Work planning to ensure fulfilment of our contract obligations
8. Systematic approach to implement software functions by using algorithms
9. Preparing and testing software functional typicals
10. Implementation of software from functional typicals inline with FDS
·Drawing HMI plant displays static screens and mapping dynamic elements
11. Preparing signal exchange lists for third party communication interfaces and implementation software proxies
What You Bring
12. You have successfully completed a technical degree: Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, Automation, Control Engineering or similar
13. Experience in industrial/power station control systems commissioning/setup/service - fresh graduates with relevant internship or apprenticeship experience are also welcome
14. Experience with Omnivise T3000 or PCS7 or similar DCS system will be strong advantage
15. Experience of basic IT/OT networking, administration and hardening
16. English Language skills – spoken/listening, writing/reading (technical documentation, manuals etc.)
17. Good communication skills, good relationship building with internal and external partners
18. Self motivated, independent, self-study
19. Driving license
20. You are willing to travel UK and Ireland (up to approx. 50%)
