How You’ll Make An Impact
1. You contribute to Integration tests and Functional tests of HVDC control technology (C&P Hardware and Software) in our test center in Germany.
2. You are responsible for execution and documentation of Functional Performance Tests (FPT) and Dynamic Performance Tests (DPT) of our C&P Hardware and Software including Customer Acceptance Tests.
3. You are responsible for technically flawless commissioning of HVDC systems on site in due time, including testing of associated HV primary components and secondary systems.
4. You support Commissioning Management in Quality, Risk and Claim Management.
5. You participate in improvement programs (e.g. Lean, Reviews and Lessons Learned).
What You Bring
1. Completed degree in electrical engineering, energy technology or comparable education / qualification.
2. At least 3 years of experience in this field of expertise.
3. Good knowledge in one or more of the following areas: project planning and testing via MATLAB/SIMULINK, Siemens SIMATIC TDC/S7, CFC, grid protection systems.
4. Knowledge or ideally working experience in the field of Electrical Engineering and Commissioning of Electrical Power Stations or HVDC Systems.
5. Knowledge in Current- and Voltage Measuring devices and other primary equipment.
6. Proficient English language skills, further language skills are very welcome.
7. Willingness for worldwide business trips and mainly long-term assignments on construction sites in Germany and abroad, as well as optional assignments on offshore platforms.
8. Team player, communicative, proactive, positive handling of conflicts, decision-making capability.
