We are now seeking a Head of Operations to join our team full-time to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company.
Role Overview: As the Head of Operations, you will be the backbone of our day-to-day operations. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and submitting grant applications aimed at securing non-dilutive funding, as well as ensuring that our business plan progresses as planned and that all activities align with our strategic goals. This includes coordinating with accounting and legal services to ensure compliance and financial health, as well as managing administrative tasks to keep the company running smoothly. Beyond internal operations, you will play a key role in fostering relationships and engaging with investors, outsourcing partners, and key stakeholders in the wider local and national life sciences ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities: Grant Writing and Funding: Lead the preparation and submission of grant applications to secure non-dilutive funding (government and European programs).Identify and pursue funding opportunities from government programs, foundations, and other sources.Serve as Project Director, ensuring compliance with grant terms, submission ( working closely with the science team)Prepare and submit required grant reports, financial statements, and progress updates. Project & Budget Management Register, oversee, and manage purchase orders and contracts.Monitor project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.Track expenditures and align financial planning with company objectivesPrepare Agenda, meeting minutes for the Board MeetingsOperational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company goals.Manage administrative tasks, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance.Strategic Planning: Update the business plan as appropriate.Create research and development timelines and support R&D teams in aligning with business objectives.Investor and Customer Relations: Help prepare investor decks, sales materials, and marketing collateral (e.g., websites, posters, PPTs).Identify and build relationships with outsourcing partners, company investors, and key stakeholders.Commercialization Support: Support the development of market-entry strategies and intellectual property assessments.Drive business intelligence activities using databases, networks, and other tools. Qualifications: A University degree in life sciences is mandatory.Strong track record in grant writing and securing non-dilutive funding.Strong experience in project management, grants administration, and budget oversight.Experience in operations management, preferably in a biotechnology or life sciences company with tech transfer experience.Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, early-stage environment. Background in biotech, life sciences, or R&D-driven organizations preferred.Proven ability to manage stakeholders, financial planning, and compliance.Excellent communication skills for engaging with investors, collaborators, andStrong understanding of biopharma.· Strong network in the academic and biotech communities.

· Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
