The Constellation Technology Team provides a group-wide set of Technology Products and Services across the Constellation Automotive Group. We are a central function working across the following domains: Technology Operations, Cyber Security, Product, Engineering, Enterprise Applications, Logistics, Architecture and Portfolio; across the UK and Europe.
Role Overview
This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing IT automation solutions using low-code platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT operations, a passion for automation, and the ability to translate business requirements into efficient and scalable automated workflows. This position requires a proactive and results-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Experience of process improvement projects.
2. Rapid Proof of Concept Development, Debugging, test design and execution, release and completion.
3. Prior experience of Scripting tools/software, Python, PowerShell, Power Automate, Service Now Integration Hub and Service Now Orchestration.
4. Experience of developing and implementing automated solutions using low code platforms.
5. Design, build and deploy automated workflows for various IT processes, e.g. ITSM, Network, Operations, Cloud Operations and System Administration.
6. Comfortable working with Cloud and on-premise systems.
7. Prior experience of development tools including Github, Terraform, and Azure DevOps would be advantageous.
8. IT Operations experience with EntraID and Active Directory.
9. Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and other departments to understand their automation needs and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
10. Conduct thorough testing of automated workflows to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.
11. Ensure our automated workflows are protected with preventative failsafe’s.
12. Stay updated on the latest advancements in low-code automation technologies and industry best practices.
13. Maintain clear and concise documentation of all automated workflows, including design documents, test plans, and user guides.
Profile Requirements
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrable with internal stakeholders.
2. Familiar with Agile, Lean and DevOps methodologies and Product ways of working.
