.Medical Advisor Rare & HematologyMedical Advisor Rare & Hematology- Location: Lisbon (Portugal)- Job type: Permanent, Full time, Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote)About the JobTo be The One Trusted Proactive Partner Translating Science into the Right Solutions for the Right Patients.Main ResponsibilitiesCountry interface and feedback loop between sales & marketing teams and MCO medical affairs.Ascertainment of compliance with local legal requirements of internal/external product communication.Endorses also role of MSL when applicable: operates as a customer-facing medical science liaison (MSL) to local key opinion leaders.Delivers the medical and medical marketing expertise related to ASMD, Gaucher, Fabry, Oncology, and other rare diseases, rare blood disorders and oncology disorders in the Sanofi pipeline to external audiences.
Oversees the positioning of products of the above areas, as well as development of medical programs to contribute to optimal care and health outcomes for patients with these therapeutic needs.
Identifies and addresses all issues to hinder the optimal care for patients.
Translates data into concepts and conceptual frameworks.Ensures local interface and feedback loop between sales & marketing and MCO medical affairs.Act as local medical point of contact for Clinical Studies ISS and Registries.Ascertains the compliance with local legal requirements of internal/external product communication in close collaboration with sales & marketing teams.
Upon request from MCO MAD, provides local content & provides medical training locally with & outside the company (independently or with support from MCO medical affairs).Continuous medical education.Points out need for local content adaptation in market access documents and participates in local meetings.Coordinates compassionate use and post-launch free drug access programs.Coordinate clinical studies in ASMD, Gaucher, Fabry, Oncology, and other rare diseases, rare blood disorders and oncology disorders in the Sanofi pipeline with the clinical studies unit (CSU).Operates as a customer-facing medical advisor to local key opinion leaders, and key local actors in healthcare provision to help understand and shape the local environment for diseases areas.Invites KOL to participate in local and/or MCO activities, in local and/or MCO advisory boards.Coordinates local advisory boards, local insights gathering and other medical projects.Ensures local interface and feedback loop between sales & marketing teams & MCO medical.KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:- Sales & marketing teams and MCO medical affairs.- Local key opinion leaders, and key local actors in healthcare.About youExperience: Experience in Rare Diseases or Hemato-Oncology Therapeutical Areas, and in Medical Affairs as a preferred expertise.Soft and technical skills: Excellent skills in communication, presentation and focus on problem-solving
