Your mission, roles and responsibilities Cross Functional team Leadership for Manufacturing Engineering within New ProgramCoordinate work package tasks and ensure their accomplishmentCoordinate the plant launch teams of the plants involved in the program. Coordinate activities and tasks fulfilment of the Program Manufacturing teamCoordinate activities with process specialistsAct as the interface between the Program Core team and the plant(s). In agreement with the program manager, technical interface with the customer and the component suppliers
Product interface (manufacturability)Ensure design to manufacturing through concurrent engineering activities with product engineersEnsure manufacturing feasibilityManage the Prototype Build and Delivery and AnalysisImplement all changes related to production system and/or related to the product (as of Engineering Change Management for cost, timing, process)
Production System DevelopmentStudy, develop in detail, validate, release and set-up the complete Production System of the program: equipment and tool interfaces, layout, process flow charts, material and information flow diagram in accordance with the Group standards and program objectives Manage key documents: Master Principles, P-FMEA, capacity study, time analysis (MTM), layout and budget.
Production launchManage the Production Part Approval Process (including Mass Production Trial and Extended Mass Production Trial)Manage the Production LaunchSupport the Production Ramp-up
Targets and reporting During the acquisition phase, support the industrial strategy of a program (cycle times, flexibility…)Achieve all manufacturing program objectives (Quality, Costs, Delivery, Performance) such as Process and Machine Capabilities, MPM, PPM and Scrap rate, CAPEX, PPH, etc. Report all manufacturing risks analysis and their associated action plans and opportunities. Apply program Management System and Engineering Change Management and Faurecia tools and standards. Ensure that manufacturing milestones are passed successfully and on time. Your profile and competencies to succeed Education Level: Engineering Degree
Experience : Experience in automotive industryPreferred minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in production area, including one position in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering or Continuous Improvement with Lean principles application.Project management experience (as a plus)
Skills and competencies : Strong TeamworkProven technical skills on product and processAbility to manage functional plant Manufacturing Engineering networkFamiliar with finance topics (costing, P&L, investments)English required / Portuguese and/or French as a plusEase with CAD toolsDriving License
