Fórum Selecção is looking for a Senior Data Engineer (M/F) for a Corporate Bank.
Main activities: Design high-performance data pipelines (ETL) to feed a DWH using state of the art data engineering techniques according to business specifications; Implement flow automation through CI/CD pipelines and end-to-end release of artifacts across environments; Design data models and schemas as well as providing architectural guidance and recommendations according to traditional BI best practices; Provide end-users with support on the handling of Dataiku, with support on the implementation of best practices; Coach and guidance towards junior team members, as well as stakeholders. Profile and skills we look for: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science; At least 5 years of professional experience as a data engineer; High proficiency in SQL. In addition, demonstrated expertise and professional experience in MS SQL's T-SQL. At ease with developing SQL CTEs, windows functions as well as robust queries; Proven expertise in implementing a DWH following a traditional BI architecture (ODS -> DWH -> DTM -> Tableau); Proven experience with data analytics ETL tools such as: Apache Nifi, Dataiku (a plus); Data visualization tools, both in terms of dashboard development and tool administration, such as: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik. Ideal, Tableau; Knowledge of programming languages and core concepts such as Java and Python (preferred); Knowledge on how to implement CI/CD pipelines and flow automation; Previous experience with data migration dedicated projects (a plus); English: Expert; French: Notions; Ability to report (simplify complex information in a clear, organized and visual manner, adapting it to the different stakeholders); Pro-active attitude with ability to work in a fast-changing environment. At ease with multi-tasking. Additional Information: Temporary project: 1 year
