Your responsibilities
* You will execute and supervise construction sites.
* You will organize the site setup (office, IT supplies, work passes, entry permits, etc.), ensuring compliance with contracts, specifications, and project standards.
* You will manage a section of the construction site, instruct and guide internal & external employees regarding safety regulations and work quality.
* You will ensure occupational safety in collaboration with the safety specialist, maintaining up-to-date risk assessments.
* You will oversee and monitor assembly work, including execution, personnel coordination, and commissioning control, defining the assembly sequence while considering the project timeline.
* You will act as the main contact person for the client and project manager regarding the site section.
* You will record and assess project performance deviations, reporting them to project management.
Your profile
* Completed apprenticeship in the technical and industrial field with further training as a technician/master craftsman, or a comparable career path.
* More than 10 years of experience in assembly, installation, and commissioning in the automotive industry (especially body constructions Mercedes/ Volkswagen/ etc.).
* Experience with customer interactions and field assembly, ideally with international exposure.
* Proven organizational and leadership skills with a proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented approach.
* Proficient in written and spoken English; additional foreign language skills are a plus. German skills are advantageous.
* Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally.
